  • How SuiteSpot hands a publish date to WordPress

    Not every site wants a platform firing its publishes. In handoff mode, SuiteSpot pushes the approved draft with its scheduled date and lets WordPress own the moment of publication.

    The handoff contract

    • The draft lands in WordPress as a scheduled post carrying the date chosen on the SuiteSpot calendar.
    • WordPress publishes it on its own clock — editors can still intervene up to the last minute.
    • When the post goes live, the SuiteSpot connector reports back with a signed write-back and the card closes itself.

  • Scheduled publishing arrives in SuiteSpot

    SuiteSpot’s Content Production Board now closes the loop between an approved draft and a scheduled WordPress publish.

    What changed

    • Approved items can be scheduled on the content calendar in the workspace’s own timezone.
    • On platform-controlled sites, SuiteSpot fires the publish at the scheduled time, and the connector confirms it back with a signed write-back.
    • On sites that keep editorial control inside WordPress, SuiteSpot hands the scheduled date over and the site publishes on its own clock.
